* madalyn rae parker ,
* back to basics ,
name : madalyn rae parker nicknames : maddie, madz, lyn, rae, parker, or just madalyn, which is quite rare age : eighteen. year: college freshman major : theater major, music minor. birthday : january 19th sexuality : straight place of birth : new york city, bby. =]
* the outer shell ,
celebrity play-by : demi lovato hair color : brown eye color : brown weight : a hundred and seven height : 5'5" overall :
madalyn is adorable, simply put. she doesn't really look like either one of her parents. she's more of a combination of the two of them. she got her mother's brown hair, her dad's chocolate brown eyes that seem to change colors depending on the lighting of the room, and her mother's height. her hair is naturally straight; she rarely uses any heat products on her hair. she uses this spray to let her hair become curly. but it's not that often that she does that. she has bangs cut across her forehead that someitmes come into her eyes, so she'll sometimes come them out of the way as well.
she stands at five foot five inches, and weighs a hundred and seven pounds. she's pretty skinny, but it's all natural. she was never anorexic or anything, though some people have been quick to accuse her of that. she loves dressing in jeans and band shirts; she has a punk style, but sometimes she'll go all vintage and wear 60s stuff whenever she feels like it. she loves to change it up every once in a while.
* what you see ,
overall personality :
madalyn is probably one of the cutest girls anyone could ever meet. there is not a bad bone in her body, honestly. she isn't one to gossip, go out drinking, fight somebody, or do anything that could possibly hurt anybody else. she loves to make friends; she's very sociable and says hi to anyone that she sees. she was raised in a family that loved to be a kind hearted family.her parents always taught her to talk to people; be a friendly, sociable girl, which she was since birth. she'd always been smiling and laughing; there was always a smile on her face, and that was a good thing to her parents. it's hard for her to be mean to anybody. if she even tries to be mad at anybody in any form, she ends up laughing it off and forgiving them, even if they won't forgive her for whatever reason. with her friends, she is absolutely protective. she is willing to fight for her friends, even if she is a pacifist. she isn't afraid to stand up to anyone for her friends; she'd rather herself get hurt than her friends. but other than that, she is absolutely outgoing with her friends. she isn't one to ever sit down; it's hard for her to do that. she is the girl that anyone can find just moving around, jumping, laughing, talking, smiling.
she isn't one of those girls that likes to talk to people about her feelings. she always feel awkward about talking to people about her feelings, so she's grown to keep her emotions in, and it works well for her. she's the kind of girl that meditates, does yoga, pilates, and all those relaxation techniques to keep herself from going crazy. the only person she is willing to talk about her feelings to is her older brother Markus. she's even protective of him, even though he is older. ever since he dropped out of high school, she always seemed to want to make sure her druggie brother was living all right. which is quite funny, because the only reason he's living in new york is to watch over his baby sister and make sure nothing happens to her.
creativity is something she never seems to lack. she is constantly writing, whether it's a screenplay, story, lyrics, poems, or whatever. she can continually write out everything. much of her work is based off of her own emotions, so she is never really running out of things to write. she has notebooks full of things she's written, notebooks that no one's read, no even her brother. she even wrote about how she felt when her brother decided to drop out of high school. so she writes down everything she feels; it's the only way she can totally get everything written out without having people knowing about it and questioning her. she's almost positive no one knows about her notebooks, not even her best friend aubree.
she is unconditionally loyal. she isn't one to talk about someone behind their back. if she hears anything, she puts it in the back of her mind unless it's totally hurtful and could cause someone pain if they found out later. she will never start a rumor about anybody; even if she doesn't like them, she won't say anything about them at all. she knows it's wrong, and she won't do that. but she is also incredibly naive. she hears something and thinks it's true, and goes off to tell aubree, mostly because it would be about her. but when she finds out it wasn't true, she feels awful with herself for letting herself get sucked in by the popular girls who never really liked her and want her away from aubree. she'd always been the punkier one between her and aubree, and those popular girls thought that was weird, and always had it out for her, but she never let it bug her unless they got her roped in like that.
romance wise, she isn't exactly too sure. she's never really been one to notice guys; that's her best friend aubree's department. but whenever she does notice a guy, she gets a typical little girl crush. she gets the childlike laughter, the constant looking around for that one person, the daydreaming about the two of them kind of crushes. she's never really had a real relationship, mostly because when the guys she did 'date' dated her, they just wanted the sex, and she isn't one to do that before marrige. she even has it pledged with a necklace her mother gave her at birth, a silver one with a diamond circle on the chain, almost like a ring. she is constantly wearing it, and whenever people asked her about it, she always told them why, and she's not embarrassed to.
* a closer look ,
likes : music, acting, boys, having fun, her friends, her family, traveling, animals, stuffed animals, traveling, the lake, carrots, nail polish, amusement parks, carnivals, guitar, piano, puppies, dislikes : her mother's depression stage, her brother's dropping out of high school, meat, drugs, alcohol, raves, sharing her feelings, being confused, heights, coconut, rainy days, being stuck inside, being let down. quirks : messes with her hair constantly, taps her feet whenever she's nervous, cannot make eye contact when she's scared, and always seems to have a smile on her face. fears : ending up like her brother, no matter how hard she tries, her mother returning to her depressive stages, dying alone. flaws : it's hard for her to open up to people besides her best friend and her brother, whenever around someone she likes, she freezes up secrets : she's a vegetarian, has a strong slight crush on alexander brody allen.
* blast from the past ,
father : christoper michael parker // age 44 at death mother : jeanette mckenzie parker // age 50 // training to be a vet. brothers : markus aiden parker // age 20 // high school drop out sisters : n/a pets : n/a as of yet. other : anything else need mentioning
history :
madalyn was only the second child born to christoper michael parker and jeanette mckenzie parker. ever since she was born, she was always close to her brother markus. he was two years older, and incredibly protective of her. she wasn't exactly a fragile girl either; she'd always spend time with her brother and her friends, playing sports and stuff. but she also knew how to split her time for her own friends. one of her own friends was aubree davis, a girl that lived next door to her since she was born. they almost immediately clicked when their moms took them both to a yoga class, and the two girls sat in the back, giggling over whatever before finally busting out laughing in the middle of the yoga routine. aubree, madalyn, and markus were incredibly tight. markus never really cared that maddie and aubree were two years younger than him; he loved them both just the same.
when madalyn was four, her and aubree's styles changed; aubree was a bit more preppy than madalyn, who preferred darker colors and punkier clothes. but even that never broke the two apart. they were both the best of friends; nothing they did could infuriate the other. it was almost as though their relationship was made to last. and having a brother that hung out with her and her best friend, many would say madalyn lived the charmed life.
until her dad died of a stroke when he was fifty five. no one knew why; he wasn't even horribly old do die, let alone have a stroke. but it happened, and it tore the family apart. jeanette, who was so incredibly in love with christopher, became more closed up, not speaking. she never woke up in time to make sure her own two kids were ready for school. so markus and madalyn had to take care of themselves. aubree's mother always made them lunches, with the word that their mother would heal in time. but that wasn't too happen so soon; she got worse, being more and more withdrawn till one day, markus just walked in on her. markus was more direct with people; saying what he feels. so he burst out at their mother, saying everything he'd wanted. madalyn had stood in the background, tears in her eyes, but she, instead of yelling like her brother, crawled into bed with her mom and wouldn't leave for anything, not even markus. markus was a bit bitter about it, but eventually he accepted it and joined them. at night madalyn and markus would stay with their mother, and eventually, with the love of her kids, she started opening up again. soon, they were all almost back on track. that time period still haunts them, but they became stronger than ever after that.
jeanette never started dating; not even when the single men at her work tried to get at her, she didn't. her kids came first, and they knew no one could replace their father. she didn't seem to be able to look at men the same way since her husband died, and she was fine with it. her life, and the kids' lives, were back on track. markus and madalyn were growing a bit apart, their personalities developing, showing them that the two of them weren't the same person. madalyn was everyone's little sister, the girl everybody wanted to know because she was sweet, fun, happy, cheerful. markus was more of the dark, keep to himself, tough guys that were around. he rarely talked to anyone.
during middle school, madalyn, aubree, and markus were growing farther and farther apart. he was hanging out with the tough kids, smoking, doing pot, and all those things. madalyn and aubree both knew better than that, so they started to hang out with each other alone more and more often than with markus. markus honestly hadn't cared, until high school came. madalyn was in eighth grade when markus decided to drop out of high school. he knew he wasn't going to make it, so he figured why bother? madalyn was distraught by this; she wanted to be in high school with her brother, and now that wouldn't happen. but he was always there for her, always protecting both her and aubree.
when madalyn graduated high school, she wanted to go to New York Academy of the Arts. she was always interested in acting; she participated in her school's plays, musicals, and other events. sending a video of her acting career and also some of her lyrics for songs, just in case, she got in, as a theater major, but they allowed her to have music as her minor. markus, who wasn't surprised she made it into college, managed to get an apartment near the school, and now him and madalyn live there together. their mom had started dating a man named ted beck during madalyn's senior year, so she wasn't alone, even though her kids were only a few miles from their home. so now madalyn's in her freshman year of college with aubree, living with her brother. she's pretty sure she can't get any luckier.
